My name is Beccie Price and I teach English 11 and Advanced Placement English Language and Composition. I am a graduate of Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a major in English Language Arts and a minor in physical education. I have taught in Broken Bow, Hugo, Vallilant, and Wright City, Oklahoma. This is my second year to teach in DeQueen, and I am loving it.
I am married to Pat and we have three children and three grandchildren. We live on a ranch and raise beef cattle and bucking bulls.
I am actively involved in the Valliant Church of Christ.
I am also actively involved in raising money for finding a cure for breast cancer. Every October I host a Lumberjax/Bulldog Pink Walk between Valliant and Wright City, Oklahoma to raise money. I am also a five time participant of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Houston, Texas and Washington, D.C. In May 2014, I will be participating in the AWBC in Boston.
Besides teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, sewing, and vaious do-it-yourself projects.
